When you submit a request, Sweepwell collects the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, property type and details of the work required.

How we use it

We use this information to review your request, identify potentially suitable chimney sweeps, communicate with you and try to match the requirement with one available business.

Sharing your information

A limited description of the requirement and general location may be offered to suitable businesses without revealing your identity or contact details. Your name and contact details will be released to no more than one business that accepts the lead.

We may also use service providers that help operate the website, deliver email or process payments. They may only use information as required to provide those services.

Retention

Enquiry records are retained only for as long as reasonably required to operate the service, deal with disputes, prevent misuse and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Your rights

You may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held about you, subject to applicable legal requirements.
